Questions about Heatsink..

I'm thinking of getting a CPU cooler. Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme but i need a heatsink that BOTH support 775 and 1366 socket. I heard that you can convert a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme 775 into a 1366. How is this possible?

Thank you..

How is it possible?

With the optional bolt through kit. It is just a matter of an adapter with different holes, and set-up a little differently.

The kit can be found at Frozen cpu.

You also have the option of the Noctua NHU12P also, which is compatible with both 775 and 1366, along with a kit too.
Where can i find this seperate kit then?

One More Thing: Will it support the 32nms too?

And will a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme fit into my Aeroracer pro?..

Yes, as long as it is socket 775 or 1366. The 32nm transistor gate size has nothing to do with it.

I don't know, you will have to find the dimensions of the case, and compare them to the dimensions of the TRUE.

Chassis Dimensions :
410(H) x 190(W) x 450(D).

Is it ok?..
My case dimensions are: 8.3" x 18.1" x 16.9" (W x H x D) which convert to (mm): 210mm x 459.74 x 429.26, and my case will fit a Noctua NHU12, and it has greater height than the Thermaltake, so I THINK it will fit.
I'm trying to buy it from a uk site and i was wondering which one's the best. I'm using LGA 775 and i want Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme LGA775. Can you help me?

These are the sites:
overclock.co.uk
overclockers.co.uk
tekheads.co.uk
thecoolingshop.com ( I'm not so sure bout this , it's com)
quietpc.com
candccentral.co.uk

thanks

I am in the United States and purchase everything from Newegg, or can recommend FrozenCPU.

Other than that, I don't have a clue about any U.K. sites. There are plenty of members here who are from different areas of the U.K. that might know though.

I know newegg and i hear lots of good things about it but it's too far ( I think) I need it in 2 weeks tops

I found This. What do you say?

BTW Do i need a special 120 mm fan or any brand will do?..
Anyways , i found this and i was wondering if it includes fan clips. Cause i won't be able to get fan clips if it doesn't..
