What's up fellas, I got a few technical questions and opinions needed, and this is by far the best place to come.....so here it goes...........

Here's my new build so far (haven't purchased any of it yet, but are planning to in the next 2-3 months). It will be used for Gaming, and writing programs.

MB - ASUS P5B Deluxe
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 ($215 on ZipZoomFly.com !!)
RAM - OCZ 2x1 GB (suggestions needed)
HARD DRIVE - (still debating, but it will be 3.0 SATA)
Sound - Creative Audigy 4 (already have)
PSU - Rosewill 600W (Already Have)
Graphics - Undecided
Case - Raidmax Scorpio Mid Tower (Already Have)

Here's my question........

Can you guys reccomend a good PCIe graphics card??
I know the new DX10 cards are due out soon, so I really don't want to get anything crazy right now. Just something that will get me over 100FPS in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 series.

Also, are there any other suggestions, comments, concerns, idle gossip that you guys have about this build??

Thanks In Advance,
To hold you over to DX10, a 7600GT would be great. The eVGA 7600GTS is going for $114 after rebate on newegg now.

well, to play all games on highest settings you'll want an x1900xt card or higher, or a 7900gt card or higher. personally, i prefer ATI. they have more features like AVIVO video converter (uses the gpu to accelerate video conversion) and you can also enabled HDR and FSAA simultaneously in newer games such as oblivion.

a couple of things we'll need to know: what games do you plan on playing?
and whats your budget?

btw nice rig! looks like it'll overclock beautifully!

Ya the 7600GTS looks good enough for now.....

I didn't know that the DX10 cards were due out next month. I'll probably get the 7600GTS for now, and wait a few months for the DX10's to drop in price. I know that there's that Consumer Electronics Show in January, and prices usually drop pretty well after that.

Thanks for the Advice.....

Any other comments about the build???
