Looking for recommendations on a very quiet - quiet 80mm fan with blue LED lighting and a 3/4 molex connection. I need this for my CM 690 right side motherboard tray fan slot, and it NEEDS to be quiet because my PC is in my room and I have to be able to sleep with the thing on every now and then.

To give you a noise level estimation, I currently have 4xAntec 120mm Blue LED Fan's (Two at 80%), 1xScythe Kaze Maru 140mm (60%-70%), and the front panel 120mm on the CM 690 (60%-70%). I don't want to increase the dBA any more than that if possible.

I think you need a special thinner fan for that mount so it fits with the back panel, not any old 80MM will fit. I could be wrong but i think i remember reading about it in the CM690 thread.

AHHHH i couldnt find it, thanks you. The search function on OCN reallllly sucks. It just brings up the CM690 thread that consists of 303 pages and over 3000 replies..... like anyone is going to want to dig through that for a simple question.

Hm, I installed a standard 80mm with some elbow grease applied to the side panel when I put it back on. Though a 80x80x15 would be nice I guess.

A regular 80mm actually fit? I might have to try this, I have an old 80mm tri cool.

Yup, I just kinda had to... "Apply" some excessive pressure to the side panel when re-attaching it.
