ok So I have been able to find a few nice oc setups max has been about 3.8 stable trying to hit 4.0 when I go with something like 10x 1600 or 10.5 1550

core 3 and 4 fail right off the bat everytime Core 1 and 2 seem stable..

I completed 3dmark Vantage on these setting score was 25523

Idle Temp 30-40c Max Temps 70ish (I know its high wont be keeping it at this until I setup Water cooling) Like to stay below 60c max
My settings are

Note I also get a "code Init" when i reboot sometimes

10.5x 1550 at the moment

Linked and Sync 9-9-9-24 2T

All Spread Spectrum OFF

Volts

CPU
1.38125v

CPU PLL 1.60v

CPU VTT 1.30v

Memory 1.90v

NB 1.68v

SB 1.60v

Looking for suggestions on both volts and any other settings my feeling is I should be able to hit 4g on lower volts and with less heat

First time i built a pc since Tyan dual Pentium Pro days so for all i know the heat sink is on upside down and backwards

Somebody more familiar with nvidia chipsets will probably come along with better advice, but for now I'd advise this: Drop your multiplier to 8 keeping FSB QDR at 1600 (3.2GHz) and test for stability. This will tell you if you need to focus on the CPU or the northbridge. If it's stable, focus on the CPU, if not, then the northbridge.
Make Sure you have set the correct NB voltages for a stable overclock.. Look For GTL REF voltages..

thats the best way, you want to isolate so you know what was holding you up..

If your stable at 3.8 but not 4.0, sadly its probly your cpu voltage, which is actaully above spec already, so you may be at your limit...

Also you NB and SPP are really high for most boards.. Id go to your last stable overclock and try lowering them a bit... just lower one at a time and stress test...

Use OCCT cpu test, it takes 2hrs to know if its stable.. better than 12+ hours of prime IMO

What is the max voltages i should be using for cpu, NB, SB? I think I'm going to stick with 3.8 myself seems like alot less heat and very stable
