I'm looking to purchase one of these three monitors but can't find any compatibility information with a 5870 eyefinity 6 edition.

The card has six minidisplay ports as seen here: http://www.anandtech.com/show/3621/amds-radeon-hd-5870-eyefinity-6-edition-reviewed

I don't care if I cant see the bios but I just need to know if windows will show up without any issues.

Probably if your using 6 active converters.

Well I wouldn't be using all 6. I'm not trying to do an eyefinity setup. I would probably just have 2 monitors .

I'm assuming then it will require 2 active converters. Will something like this work?

I'm wondering this myself at the moment. I have a Shimian sitting here completely unable to display on anything I have, but an adapter is atleast $100 extra which is an expensive gamble.
