Just wanted a few questions answered before dropping $1800 on a gaming laptop.

Are you satisfied with driver stability for the 7970m?
How close is it in performance to the gtx 680m or gtx 675mx?
Considering that the ps4 will be using a 7970m do you think improvements for the laptop version of the gpu will keep improving?
Looking at getting the sager np-9170 with either the gtx 675mx, gtx680m or save some money and get the radeon 7970m if stability is there.
Also if i understand correctly enduro cant be turned off on clevo/sager laptops, whats a good alternative to clevo/sager that would have the amd gpu but have the ability to turn enduro off?

Thanks for your answers.

well a 7970 has about 4.4 teraflops i believe.. the titan gtx has about 4.6 teraflops... the 7970m is about equivalent to a 7850 pci-e card. The 7970m actually out performs the more expensive 680m in most benchmarks and games... so in essence.. a 7970m CF would be more close to a 7970 pci-e. may I suggest MSI for the laptop brand? tbh, they are the best bang for the buck. and also, the i7's quads for all laptop CPU's bench barely any higher than the amd's APUs game wise. Something you should check into and consider http://www.msimobile.com/level3_productpage.aspx?cid=6&id=381 for $1299 w/ a 7970m... leaves you $500 bucks

Good advice thank you. I should mention This laptop will not only be used for gaming but also minor photo editing through lightroom and photoshop cs6 and i dont think the APU's will keep up, though i am very tempted to try out the apu's.
Edit: after looking at the review for the APU mentioned... Its no where near an intel offering. Im not looking to save $500 and then regret it down the road, but still thanks for the advice.

I agree. My questions regarding stability and performance in comparision to the gtx cards still remain unanswered. Want to play guild wars 2 at max settings among others and have stable drivers.
