I havent bought any parts yet but I know what I want but so I know before i do get it. I'm gonna use 2 Seagate 250gb SATAII-300 drives and before i get stuff I need to know if ill need any third party drivers and if so where to get them. I think that sums it up.

AS long as you have the raid drivers for your motherboard you are set. I also think windows has raid drivers, but I have never used them

Setting RAID 0 on the P5B is easy, first and foremost: RTFM.

Next:
2- go to Intel (chipzilla) and download the latest drivers for the P965 chipset which is DL# 1

3- DL# 3, those are the RAID 0 Drivers, a.k.a. RAID Matrix Storage Manager.

4- DL# 12, which is the F6 Drivers and they also update the ROM in your South-Bridge which will be the best option for the RAID 0 drivers.

5-Create RAID with the latest and greatest.

Here's the link: Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family.
