Raidmax PSUs Yes/No?

I just had my psu die on me right when I was about to order a graphics card and I was wondering what the reputation on these raidmax PSUs was. I have a lan I plan to attend thurs. of next week so I need to order within the next couple days (and pray neither is doa) so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I only want to spend somewhere between $50-$60 and I would prefer modular seeing as it is an sff case.

Im using one right now, and its been working fine. Of course Im running a dual psu setup, your probably better off with low watt thermaltake.
$40 for a modular PSU is way to cheap. Generally, Raidmax PSU's are not of preferred quality.

Although it's not the best at all, this PSU is generally a reliable, cheap PSU.

*Edit* For your purposes, this one might be all right too.

Raidmax are okay, but if you want reliability I would still stick with the big boys.
Wow, that was really fast. But thanks for all the good input, I think I am going to go with the 400W corsair that reberto suggested.

thanks everyone else too!

If you absolutely must have modular, these are about the only two options in your budget range: Antec NeoPower 430 or the OCZ ModX Pro 600. Both are budget units and easily better than the Raidmax. The Antec is a Seasonic build which is a little better than the Sirtec/Sirfa built OCZ. But then I am not a huge fan of the budget Seasonics Antec use. Antec has a knack for not making them as good as they should/could be. OTOH, the Sirtec/Sirfa OCZ has questionable caps but more capacity for near the same price after rebates.
corsair is the king. i generally dont recommend anything but corsair.
If your seriously do not have the cash to buy a good quality one, then just get a raidmax i was using a 9800 GTX with the Stock PSU that came with the raidmax smilodon and no problems whatsover. But seriously you want to get a good quality psu, as it powers your whole system.
I have raidmax and no problems. Would recommend.
