Hey all,

Just upgraded to 10900k with Asus maximus xii formula board and now i'm looking to upgrade my Ram, i've got F4-3200c16D-GTZKW kit right now and looking to get F4-4000C19D-32GTRS..I really can't find too much information on this kit. Just skip this and go straight to 4400? or any better performance 4000 kits out there?
Thank you for all the help!

all depends on your budget.
I think these gskill 4 dimm kits are probably the most interesting at this current time. i haven't checked out corsair in a bit but they've got a 4 dimm 4400 kit, not sure of the timings though.

I was about to pull the trigger on the F4-4000C15Q-32GTZR but then realized people were talking about Patriot PVS416G440C9K, which is significantly cheaper for 4400 vs 4000.. So i guess it's back to the drawing board.
Still waiting for 10900k to arrive so im not in a hurry, and RGB doesnt really matter to me much. Thoughts?

If you are welling to go into RAM OC'ing then the Viper steel is a great option but if you are not really into that then just get the G.Skill ones.

If you want to check binning, just divide MT/s = Frequency / tRCD (2nd value)
4000/16 = 250
4400/19 = 231

Usually we do Freq / tCL
But this is cheatable only by higher voltage

4000 CL15-16-16 are a better bin, and actually alright priced 180bucks per 16gb or 360 for 32gb
But they are dual rank i think

gskill c15-4000 bin can go all the way up to 4800mhz c17 or c18 on apex for daily use. I don't know about the other bins.
