I need ur opinions on which ram to get to finalize my order, planning to get dfi ultra-d with seasonic ss-600ht psu, ram choices that i have is this

Well the G.Skill will give you a lot higher fsb in the end if thats what your going for. id personally take the gskill by a long shot.

I that ones utt so youd get the best cas with that but a higher fsb with pc-4400.

Yea, you can still hit 3GHz, but your going to have to run your memory on a devider with that OCZ ram. I had some of that stuff (the PC-4200 version) and I didn't like it too much. Bad timings, didn't OC much past it's rated speed. The geil PC-4000 sells for 140 on zip zoom fly for timings of 2.5-4-4-7 @ PC-4000 speeds . here

If you have the dough, I highly recommend the G.Skill you posted though...

if that's what you want then get TCCD it will do DDR600 (300Mhz) which will get you to 3.0Ghz even if you lower the cpu multi to 10x TCCD is one of the few RAM that will clock that high. you will probably have to run it at 2.5-4-4-8 at those frequencies though.

my ocz platinum rev. 2 uses tccd and does DDR500 at 2.5-3-3-7 and ddr600 at 2.5-4-4-8 and will even do ddr640 at those timings.

im on the 3.0 mission with you! im at a slow 3.0 right now and i got the 2 gb GSkill kit which is about ~$30 but twice the memory. ive seen reviews of people hitting DDR600 speeds with these things. im at 273 x 11 right now and my memory should be here tomorrow. i'll post my results then.

The only good choice on memory I've seen yet is the OCZ EL, or maybe that BH5 gskill. But the BH5 wont be able to clock at DDR600 speeds, just really tight timings around 250-260...BH5 is primarily just good benchmark memory.
Get that OCZ EL stuff for $166, or the Gskill I use. Which is $150.

EDIT: Seems newegg doesn't have my memory any more, woops sorry.....all this new yellow stuff..

I wish I could comment on these new chips from gskill, that selection seems to be getting good clocks from the reviews...I would almost recommend some TCCD, that stuff might be, I'm gonna have to research it more...
