After an "Oh crap, I'm gonna hafta clear my CMOS" run-in with trying to make 4x512mb sticks run at the 1T timing, I've realized that maybe I should go to a 2x1gb RAM setup.

Lots of people like to talk about Geil, G.skill, Mushkin, OCZ, etc. as their particular favorite type of RAM... as well as BH-5 and TCCD chips being the greatest for overclocking.

So, I'm wondering:

Where (other than NewEgg) can I find RAM rated higher than DDR400?

Which manufacturer's RAM should I be considering for a good overclock (but without breaking the bank-- I'd like to be able to afford it!)?

Along that same line, what are some good 1GB or 2x1GB combos that you all would recommend (and/or can you provide a link to a place that sells them online)?

Thanks for the input and help.

I couldn't make all your requirements, specifically DDR rated above PC3200. Do not loose heart, all three of the RAM listed aboce OC really well, especially G.Skill

Try shopping at Zip Zoom Fly or Tiger direct.

Good Luck!

Darn! the Corsiar link did not save the navigation to your particular MoBo, sorry. It is a easy 3-step process though.
