Downloaded bios 1914 via EZ flash in bios to bios #1

restarted everything is fine did some o/c with it until it failed 5th or 6th post i put the memory a bit too high 2200mhz (on my gskil pi series)
no post so i turned the power off (with out battery in mobo (had to have it out because it was a pain when i couldn't get bios to clear in the past since
the battery was covered by my water cooled trisli 280's)). power back up no post, then my lcd poster says updating... restarts on its own post in to the second
still old bios. i manually select bios 1 hit f10 restarts everything is fine. So in my infinite wisdom i think well **** i cant be having this board defaulting
to the old bios after i put my new cpu in there! so i went a head and flashed the second bios from the first bios. restarted into second bios works fine.
restarted into first bios works fine. did some more overclocking until it wouldn't post. hit power switch, no post both bios are dead...

called asus they said it was a corrupt flash. maybe... i hope, but i have yet to see a "bad flash" work recover from a fail post and only fail after using
a power off reset (ie clear cmos).

asus was not sure if they can send me bios under warranty... what do you guys think?

Got in touch with asus bios dept. They said its a bad flash (no kidding right lol)
and were more than happy to send out new bios chips for only 35$!! (one would think that 400$ on a mobo they could afford to send out a 5c bios for nothing at least once lol) so i bent over and i guess i should be up and running again tomorrow.
