I had a DeathAdder, but it gave me so much trouble I returned it within the week. The cursor kept jumping around no matter how I configured the mouse.
That's a nice looking mouse. I'd probably swap to a Razer mouse from my SideWinder X8 if Razer would put vertical thumb buttons on one of their mice. Seriously, vertical thumb buttons = awesome.

5600 dpi really? that is not needed. I doubt there is anyone who could seriously say that is not enough sensitivity. Otherwise the mouse looks good like most razers, but still overpriced. Ill stick with my mx518.

I agree on the bottons of the X8. At least on Razer mice though u can rest your thumb under them to prevent accident clicks. But the x8 you just have to roll your thumb so it is easier.
I have the 3500DPI version of that "3.5G" Laser on the New DeathAdder and I kinda like it over the Infared it used to use. Although I do find it likes to hop a few pixels soemtimes. Might just be me not used to doubling my DPI.

How So? Laser & Infrared are both moving at the speed of light, so what's the difference?
Anyways, i like it... its perfect for me, it has those 2 buttons i always desired on my deathadder, but not those 2 right thumb buttons i hate on the Lachesis.

Look at my second link in my signature. Although the newer laser mice might actually be better. The two links in my signature compared laser and optical mice of the really old generation.
Guess what, that mouse post can kiss my ass. Laser works fine. Also Ultra polling is complete grap. Mice NEED to go back to PS/2 connections.
I really notice no differance in the differant sensors. Granted I don't drop my DPI to 400 or whatever and then drag my mouse across my floor to play. I also feel no need to do the lame flick of the wrist to make 180's. A simple slide works fine and frankly if you get a feel for the length of slide you will be more accurate.
The only that really maters especially for low sens gamers (like me) is the following
Quote:
Up to 200 inches per second/ 50g acceleration
I found out really fast that my G9 would jsut stop tracking and give up if I moved it distance x really fast. I guess I hit the 65in/sec max tracking threshold with my G9
I seriously doubt I went past 20G though (20*9.8m/s).

This...also Logi or RAzer should consider stacking four buttons on the side in a square pattern. One for reloading, one for grenade and other two for macros (double tap macro FTW).
