I reinstalled Windows XP on my Gateway MX6425 laptop. And now Realtek AC '97 has a yellow exclamation mark on it in Device Manager. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the correct drivers from the Realtek website. And uninstalling the actual device and reinstalling with the Realtek driver. And letting Windows find the right software. Nothing worked. I get the same yellow exclamation point and no sound.

I've been working on this for days. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
