Rear audio Output not working! Advice?

1233 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Nausicaa
I recently moved my Asus Motherboard and all the components into my empty Hp enclosure. Everything works now except the rear onboard audio jack. If i turn the volume up to max i can hear music slightly coming from only the left speaker. The front audio output is working fine and ive tried multiple speakers on the rear audio, and i didnt mess with any of the jumpers on the MoBo. Any ideas?

Try downloading and installing audio drivers for your mobo.
Not to come off rude, but ive had no problems audio wise until the switch. I'm not to sure as to why the drivers would all of a sudden be outdated or corrupt?
Check your case mountings? If there is a short somewhere it could be affecting the audio (not to mention other things).

Try it anyways. It takes a few seconds.

Same thing happened to me once. I felt like an idiot when I noticed that there was a piece of random paper in the slot. I would look at the contacts. If it ouputs to the front then I really don't know why it would do that.
