Is this list being sarcastic? If not - it makes me VERY sad... I only saw a few PC exclusives that I MIGHT be interested in.... there was a bit more to be interested in with cross platformers, but even then it didn't seem that great a lineup

Man, I've been finding it harder and harder to find video games that seem at all innovative... everything these days just seem like crappy cookie cutters with updated graphics (and even then, the graphics don't seem to be improving at a very significant rate)
Looks interesting

Just a list some sleeper titles but I totally agree games have almost lost their novelty. But I can see several titles on that list holding my attention for longer than their cross-platform counterparts and Diablo III is not listed. Between that and Starcraft 2 everything else is just gravy. Except Martians vs Stalin that is at least somewhat original but I am sure it'll just be ran on some crappy unbalanced RTS engine.

I heard D3 was coming out 09/09/09 guess not... I hate being misinformed.
I do not believe that Rage is going to be released this year. All in all a good list but only when coupled with the multi-platform titles. Outside of the RTS genre there is a serious lack of quality pc exclusives.
this year should be a good year for us, even if the majority of the games on my list are crossplatform ones.
BOOO PC GAMING, b/c my pc sucks and freezes during CS 1.6! Xbox 360 4 lyfe (or until I get a computer....)
I hope Demigod turns out nicely o_O

ive got the same series of laptop as you and ive got no problem with Cs1.6 on max, even HAWX works on medium, but left 4 dead is nasty...

anyways past 3 years have been great for PC gaming, best years of my gaming life, 2007-2009.

looking forward to battlestations 2 and dead rising, and hawx

Diablo 3 will come 'when it's ready'.

Compared to some contemporary RPG's so far Diablo 3 looks like crap,
also judging from the art direction it won't be a spiritual successor to D1 and D2.

Also I'm not really looking forward to playing some "ooga - booga" - type caster wearing a purple skirt, I wish they created some truly evil characters like necromancer or lock, or something to that extent.

Because even in WoW I like playing lock but hate all the trolls and the whole shaman and nature and all that crap.

Also I hate how armor looks like WoW armor. Looking at other games,
even xbox 360 has games that feature gothic shiny armor, why can't we have that in D3??
I guess Blizzard designs their games arround people with integrated graphics,
who can't even match graphics of xbox 360 which is 5 years old.

There's a few on that list that I can't wait for (Love, FEIST, BF: H, Project Offset, Alan Wake, etc, etc).
wow....im seeing lots of games that I really want.

Im a big racing sim fan and the only racing game on there that I would like to get is Need for Speed shift. If the devs from GTr are on it, then it should be good.
Gaming is dead. At least to me. Good FPS games are hard to come across nowadays with companies just pumping out games that appeal to the less intelligent. Run and gun ftl.
PC Gaming is dieng. Valve is just going to make endless modes of Source engine, and Blizz make all their games have WoW graphics.

And I don't really play any sims/RTS/city managements/quest games.

Crytek is going to take a step back to design games with less graphics so it can run on console.
Only two that I'm interested in, Starcraft 2 and Demigod.
I'm looking forward to RE5, Dead Rising 2, Need for Speed Shift, (hopefully its done right), and Prototype. There's a few more that caught my eye so 2009 should be a pretty good year for PC gaming IMHO.
