Yeah why not? Video cards really don't go bad very often unless you're volt modding or other crazy stuff like that. Plus, i'm not sure how much you can trust newegg reviews, but a couple said they got a 9800GTX+

Furthermore, if it doesn't have a recertified S/N, you'll get the lifetime warranty. (Friend had this happen with a mobo from eVGA)

How was the condition of the card itself? I'm not worried about the cables, I never use the break-outs nor the dvi-vga adaptors and my psu has the dual 6pins.

I doubt you would have an issue with it.

Many people report it with this particular card, but after owning one my self for a good while, I would say that is more that they spent a good amount of money on the card, and they expect 2510x1600 resolution with 16x AA and 16x AF.

If you use the latest drivers, and keep your games patched, then it shouldn't be any problem at all.

Yeah me too, Living in NJ I have to pay taxes when I buy from Newegg, but most of the time with tax and shipping it's about the same I would pay from Tigerdirect. Also being that the Newegg shipping facility is only an hour away from me, when I order I usually get the packages the next day
so it's a good deal! However, not this time
