Tired of looking for a bloodrage ( bought 3 and all ended up being out of stock from different stores ) and before I end up selling off my bnib i7 920.. i'm gonna take a chance and look into other boards. Price limit around 250-275 shipped.

a slight requirement: Need to be able to get full potential of this ram or close to it:

have at it, you have a limit I can spend and a requirement i'd prefer.. get to recommending

If you know where bloodrage is ( non GTI ) .. let me know, still looking for one but given up hope doing it on my own.

I've heard good things about the TPowerx58. This site also has 5% cashback with Bing. The store is listed as "Superbiiz" and not "eWiz" when you go to Bing's site.

evga x58 LE is a solid board in your price range.
You will not be disappointed with the EVGA x58 LE
GA-EX58-UD3R, preferably v1.6, but v1.0 will still do the trick.

Really though, most X58 boards should do what you are looking to have them do.

What kind of board is that? Ive never seen anyone on this site running one. The board does seem to only support 1866 rather than 2000. Im sure you can crank it higher than that of course but really so far Ive had nothing but one bios problem with it. Which means nothing as it can always be changed. So its another vote for this board from me. You sure you need 2000mhz ram?

--I like the slot layout as it works for me anyway. extra spacing between GPUs for better airflow and it still opens up a pci slot for maybe a wireless card. and the last PCI-e slot for a dedicated physX card (maybe razor gtx260) or a sound card. nvidia cards bridges come standard shorter than amd/ati's bendable bridges that expand perfectly for either layout.

Yeah, seems like it's been a while since I've seen anyone sport'n biostar.

pci-e spacing kind throws me off on that a bit though. Not a lot of cases will let you fit a dual slot card in the last slot like that, & the spacing on the first 2 looks a tad far for the tiny bridges some of the cards come with.
