That's your best bang for buck at this price range.
But they're also large and bulky. If you're looking for something more portable, you might want to check out the Koss Portapro for something a bit more low profile or Koss KSC75 for clip-ons (which uses the same drivers as the Portapro).
As for earbuds, I have no idea. I don't like them and don't use them.
But if you don't mind the full cover headphones, then the RX700's are a no-brainer.
There's also the Sennheiser HD201 and HD202. You can also find some HD205's for pretty cheap as well.
I think they look better/sleeker than the RX700/900, but the headband is also pretty tight and they don't fit all the way over your ears. Sound quality isn't up to par compared to the JVC's, and while present, the bass is a bit lacking. But I'm a bit of a bass head which is why I went for the more expensive RX900's.
