My brother recently turned 9 and I am building him a gaming computer from some stuff I had around and the build is almost done but I still need a keyboard and mouse.

If you guys could recommend me something that will last and that is moderately usable, it doesn't have to be flashy just something I know that wont break in 2 weeks. Willing to go up to 50£ for both of these things which I know isn't an awful lot, but as I said I just want something that works.

IMO sidewinder X4 and a Logitech G400.
They are both flashy enough to be enticing but solid enough to be worth it.

Logitech G400 or MX518 (whichever is cheaper). Logitech mice and built like tanks and if they ever break, they will send you a new one for free.

For someone who is 9, I think a great, durable and affordable combo is the Logitech G400 and Sidewinder X4 gaming keyboard.

I ended up with the Logitech g400, as I own the g500 and love it as for the keyboard I got a Logitech G105 as it was 55£ total which wasn't bad and makes a reasonably good combo
