Hi,
Am new to SLI Systems and planning to fit 2 x 9800GTX Cards in to my system
,
But i need advice on what PSU you would recommend for this setup.
Am really looking for a PSU that's got 4 X 6pins.
I don't really like the idea of using molex adapters.

What's your budget? Taking that, I'll be able to find something pretty quick.

Under £100, but with independent 6pin connectors
Thanks

Alright. Modular or non-modular? Or does it matter in your case?
This is probably the cheapest unit with four PCIe that is good. It would handle your system just fine. Either of these are good choices too.

You could probably just use your current one if the ratings are correct. But if you want to switch I'd recommend one of these psu's if the price is comparable in London.

Also good and has a better cabling system for the modular connectors compared to the Antecs.

Yeah my current psu was powerful enough if got adapters but is half dead right now! and am using dual PSUs lool

a cheap 600watt powering the MB,
and the half dead one Powering everything else (CPU,GPU,Hard disks etc)

SLI PSUs

If it was me i'd atleast go with a 650 for power. But then maybe 750 for headroom/upgradability and futureproofing.

Ooo lol. Yah i was considering going SLI 9800 GTX, you can scape by with a 600 watt... But you should get a 650/700. I don't know any foreign stores or I'd help fine one.
