I am building a new rig in december-ish and I would like to go liquid cooling. Can the awesome people of OCN recommend some great water blocks for the 1366 socket and the GTX 295?

If I get also get some tips on where to mount stuff in my case that you guys have found it nice. I am planning on getting an Antec 1200. I am willing to do an external radiated if you guys suggest.

A great waterblock for the 1366 socket is the Heatkiller 3.0. As for your GTX 295 I can't help you since I don't watercool my video cards. If you could you should really get a different case. The Antec 1200 is good for aircooling but it's layout leaves something to be desired when it comes to watercooling. And yes, mounting the rad on the outside of the case will give you the best temps. As for other cases you should check out, look at the Cosmos S or the Haf 932...both can take 360 rads internally.

Heat killers are well worth the money : ) As said before
I'll recommend the Heatkiller here as well. The LT version performs almost exactly on par with the full copper HK for less money.

Get what case you like...because later down the line you'll regret changing.

Or if you don't want to spend that much money on a waterblock, get the enzotech sapphire rev. a. Only 35 bucks at newegg, and performs within a degree of the heatkiller

How much cash do you have? If you tell us your estimated budget, it'll be easier to give you recommendations.

That depends...what is your budget and how much noise can you handle?

Its not that I think it looks bad. I just like doing the opposite of my brother
But with other lights and stuff like that in my case, it wont be bad. Where can I get that Heat Killer water block, I cannot seem to find it on Newegg or Xoxide.

You will have to look for it at shops like Jab-tech, Sidewinder Computers, or Performance-PCs.

Alright, and sorry I didnt see the other posts about money. I would like to keep it around $250-300 ish if possible. I can go a little higher(maybe 50 bucks) but not to much. And I can handle a jet engine in my house if needed. I would like to have my CPU, GPU's cooled and if it isn't to much more money, maybe the motherboard?

Here are the specs:
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-283-_-Product
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-202-_-Product
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813188049
I'm looking to go with an Antec 1200 as well, plan to mount a 360 rad where the 3 front intakes are, I will only be cooling my cpu though.
Wouldn't that then suck the hot air from the rad into the case?
Yeah but with a cpu only loop the difference between ambient air and air after leaving the rad is only 1C or so.
Every degree counts
