Recovering lost data.

Friend gave me his HDD that was set up for RAID. It was a prebuilt custom comp. Friends rig went out the window and we determined it was a HDD failure. One of them wasnt showing up. So we formatted the other and started working on the one that wasnt showing up. Its being recognized on my comp and i was wondering if there was a way that i could recover the information on it. He is a programmer so i figured it would be nice if i could get his source back for him.

i dont think so, if you formatted half a raid setup. You might be able to recover some data, but i think most of it would be corrupt.

I don't believe you can???????????????????? I believe RAID 0 is -if one fails, data is irrecoverable-.
