DirectX®: 9.0c
Hard Drive: 7.5 GB
Sound: 100% DirectX® 9.0C compliant sound card or equivalent onboard sound

Recommended:

I feel somewhat surprised that nobody has commented on the recommended requirements seeing as they are higher than Crysis 2s recommended.

They are quite suprising I have to say. I saw I believe Brink having these same specifications, so it seems that developers are making a shift somehow to higher specs?

The question is however, is this due to a bad port, or are the visuals ACTUALLY good, that they need this kind of horsepower. Red Faction no doubt is a great looking game. The visuals of of Guerrilla were quite superb and the physics were also amazing. Brink however I am not so sure....

I dont think its going to be a matter of it being a bad port with good effects. If that were the case, the minimum should be GTX200 cards or there about. And from What i saw with Guerilla, I would expect this to be just as good if not better.

How could you hate Guerilla!?? So much freedom to do as you want

Sandbox games don't really do anything for me ( besides Fallout 3 if you consider that sandbox ). That and I thought the first two Red Factions were much more enjoyable being FPS, and with destructible grounds to dig holes in. MP was also just better.

Finally a game that may keep my i7 busy... the only thing that's come close to 100% is premiere pro CS5. And that pushed mine to 75/78celcius...

I still enjoy Guerrilla from time to time, so I'm definitely happy with this! Perhaps it'll support Surround natively this time without the need for a custom display option for my resolution.
That would be nice to see

I feel that same way as I wonder if recommended is for truely maxxed out or just high settings :\ Honestly, I hope I can't pull 60FPS+ at 1080 and full AA\AF It would be nice to see that so i can justify a 6990
