Reenabling transparent titlebars and winkey+tab

I don't know why, but one of the games I played screwed with the settings of my display, disabling Windows Aero I think. I can't do windows key+tab application cycling and my titlebars are no longer transparent. How do I straighten this out?

I can't help you but I can say I had the same problem and the only way I fixed it (several months later mind you) was a reformat and reinstall.

but I must say good luck to you and I hope you find a solution as this really bothered me while it affected me.

Allright, go to control panel, and type 'aero' in the search thingy in the right top corner, there should be a result coming up saying 'troubleshoot problems with aero and other effects' click on it, go through it and 99% of the time you'll have aero back

Rebooting fixed it as I thought it would, but as I was rebooting it was restored....
