Hi,

I need some help here, i have the vapor x 7950 with x2 8pin. I have confirmed i have hynix memory. I need some assistance to overclock to 1200mhz core clock. Currently i am using trixx with force constant voltage checked. Currently Clocks are

GPU CLOCK: 1150mhz
Memory: 1400
vdcc- automatically its at 1250 (when installed the trixx)
Board power Li : 20%

Please help

I was in crossfire configuration, but i took that off. I am using for my vapor normal bios not boost bios. Using latest trixx 4.6.0.

ok so you are not running HD 7950 CF . set a custom fan profile and keep core temps below 70c and VRM temps below 90c. test using heaven 3.0 / 4.0, unigine valley 1.0, 3d mark 2013 / 2011. if you come across artifacts, crashes, freezes you can try increasing voltage to 1.275v. but if you still can't reach 1200 mhz then i would advise you to stick to 1150 mhz. its not worth pushing to 1.3v . the increased voltage and power / heat is not worth the extra 50 mhz perf gain.

Just installed msi afterburner, played operation metro in bf3 with 60 people. Pushed the voltage to 1.3, core to 1200 and memory to 1500. NO issues at all, getting fps 70 to 80. I wish i could get more FPS LOL. Also in Crossfire mode do you recommened disabling ULPS?

people like tsm106 generally say to disable ULPS. so check with him as he has quad CF. also in CF you will have to run at lower clocks and run at 1100 mhz. stick to stock voltages too as heat / temps in cf is a major issue which affects stability.

Trixx by default disables ulpls. Since he used trixx before AB, he was lucky cuz ulps was already disabled otherwise he would have BSOD.
