Relatively cheap QoS router?

We live in a student house with 5 people. 2 of us tend to game a fair bit whilst the others like to download. Therefore, we're thinking of getting a QoS enabled router so that downloading won't cause lag to those gaming across the network.

What is a good, cheap option for a QoS router (in the UK preferebly)?

Used WRT54G variant + DD-WRT?
