Removing [email protected] Service

I just installed the graphical version of [email protected] so I want to remove the service that was installed by the console version...anyone know how to do this?

Good question..It should of been removed when you reved the application then again you dontnistall the text version as its a command promp kind of program so are u sure the service your looking at is not part of your graphical version.

yea since you dont install the console version, I just had to delete the folder to remove it...the service is still there though because it says in the service name the directory where I had the console version installed (different than the graphical one)

You can just go into your Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services and either remove or disable the console in service mode.
