What's up all.....I'm going to order some replacement cooling for my X1300XT 512Mb model, and I was wondering what are the best heatsinks and fan(s). I don't care about how loud it is (LOL I don't understand why this is usually the biggest concern!). I read on another thread that the ARCTIC COOLING
ARCTIC COOLING Accelero X2 Fluid Dynamic Bearing VGA Cooling Fan with Heatsink is better than the VF900, which is a relief becuase it's cheaper! Also, I saw the Zalman heatsinks at Newegg for $9, so are these good, or which are the best? Thanks for the input, I'm gonna order today or tomorrow, so hook it up with some suggestions please!
Peace out

The X2 and VF900 are about the same (the VF900 might just take it by a degree or two tho).
Id suggest the X2 if you like or the VF700 should do fine as your card does'nt make much heat.
ok that's cool...it says on new egg that the x2 is made for the ATI x1900 series, so will it fit my card?

how about that Fatality? Anyone used this fan? It has a higher RPM than the VF900 and VF700, and it's the same price as the VF900. It says that it will fit my card, too.

I'd just get the VF-900. The fatal1ty cooler just looks like a better looking VF-700 since its got the half "flower" copper fins going on for it. VF-900 cools my X1800XT down to around 65-70C for load and I have it OCed to like 730ish/1600

ok, thanks for the advice. I'm going to get that one, as someone else suggested the vf900 also.
