I have a Seagate 7200.10 320gb HDD from H***. It's been a nightmare since I bought it, and I'm just about ready to give up on it, but I figured maybe I would try and flash the firmware. I don't care if I lose all of the data on it because there's thankfully nothing important on it or if I brick it, because all it is doing is sitting anyway. However, Seagate's website doesn't show me even the slightest hint of where the firmware can be downloaded. Anyone got it?
Thanks much FusionFX. I read the entire thread before proceeding, but it worked. I don't know for sure if the quirkiness is gone, but at least I gave it a final shot before I pull out the shotgun.
