Okay i've finished my build and happy with it. Now i need some opinions about what i should save for first.

CPU = Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
MOBO = P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe
GPU = Pixelview 7900 GTX 512mb (665mhz)
PSU = 520w ATX
MEM = Corsair 1GB twin 2x512mb sticks. 800 (pc6400)

I know my mobo isn't the best but happy with it at the moment as i just wanted to get up and running.

I've also been told since i'm core 2 i should be aiming to go 2GB memory first as i will notice a big difference. So my plan at the moment may be save for 1GB more memory, then save for SLI, then new mobo if possible.

What do you guys think i should go for?

Cheers,

I recommend a new Mobo - The Gigabyte DS3 is a very affordable option and it has been overclocking very well in the past months on these forums.

You dont need SLI just now - One of those beasts is enough for now.

Ram - 2Gb will increase your performance but A better mobo will do that also

IMO New Mobo is your best bet

Save up for things that aren't quickly outdated first. Video card, out of date often. Hard drive, will always be good. So, buy that first, and IMO, dont buy one part....save...buy another.....save. By the time you get one part, something better might be out. Save up and buy in bundle

Yeah a new screen will be nice as i only have 19inch CRT at the mo. Roger that on the mobo, also buying a bundle rather than one part is a good idea.

Cheers guys!

Upgrades, in order of importance:

1) PSU. OCZ GameXStream 600W at least (for DX10 cards)
2) RAM. Get 2GB
3) Motherboard
4) Monitor
5) Video card (when DX10 comes out)
