Rig still wont work.. lets deduce shall we

Ok got the 3400 mobile and this ***** still wont do anything for me... but i realized something... the light on the DFI... near the DRAM slots... is not on... when unplugging and replugging the bit atx cable to the x-connect it came on and stayed on during an unsuccessful boot... but turned off after powering down... i assumed that pehaps the fans were drawing too much for the pc to boot but i dont thinkg thats it... someone help!!!

wow...u really have bad luck


but, are u sure the psu works, try another one. maybe the mobo is fried, from like ESD or something

I found the solution to his problem.

The cmos jumper was in the clear position... Setite is a happy camper now. Just thought I'd let everyone know, since he's probably too excited to type.

Everyone help me rep this many to the top... he has single handedly ended my bad luck streak ::knocks on wood::... im shaking right now you understand!!! there is too much emotion to jump for joy.. or to cry... now if my dad would just get home so i can install windows... (he has my keyboard and mouse in his car...)

better yet... little things to consider prior to suicide.... and i must say... this slipstream version of windows installed quite quick and is very nice to look at... now i wish i had my 6800gt already
