Was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with XFX and replacing an open box purchase?

I don't have any experience but there is an XFX rep on OCN here somewhere who could help if anything went wrong.

Ah,Thanks forgot about that.

Well I registered the card and did the support ticket yesterday but still haven't heard back yet. Just getting impatient.
I might shoot the XFX rep a PM anyways.

Just looked and he hasn't been on since 1-27.

dont 100% undertsand the question
but i think you only have to send xfx your card (with the card number on etc)

in the past some people had problems with xfx not sending a rma back so a very long thread started about it and evually a rep post on this forum and got it sorted out

the reps name was xfx.... forgot it sorry im sure you could search though the members, the use was legit

I bought an open box xfx 9800gt from newegg. I had bought open box before with no problems so wasn't to worried about it.
Well get the card yesterday and its in a static proof bag with a sticker on it that looks like its from an XFX warehouse saying the card failed the visual QA test because it was missing the c214 capacitor. Beside from that the card is brand new, still has the protective plastic on the hsf.
So instead of dealing with stupid newegg for sending me a damaged card when its suppose to be tested and working, and paying $8 shipping to get my money back and then a 15% restocking fee, I am going to see if XFX will replace the card for me.

Should have just bought a brand new one or one with a MiR since I will have ended up spending just as much with all the shipping cost.

PM the XFX rep on here, will see if he replies.
I may just have to call the tech support and see what they tell me.

Call up newegg or drop them an email and tell them the item arrived defective...they'll waive the restocking fee and give you a label to ship it back to them at no charge.
