does anybody know what this rocketfish rebrand is? i need a new HSF and fast, and this looks kinda like either a cooler master or a xigmatek.

also, doesn't look half bad either.

Yup, it's a rebrand of the HDT-S964. Should work nicely for your CPU.

Looks slightly like a Scythe product, or xigamangehta or how ever you spell.

It's not.

The base is different.
The fine shape is different.
The fan mounting is different.
I also believe the fin density is different.

duckie, if it's not a xiggy, what is it then?
I bought one for my parents computer, and it works just fine. It was keeping an E2160 at ~50c at load when clocked to 3.0ghz. I did have two fans mounted and it was still pretty quiet, too.

Feeling somewhat incoherent. . . Black Friday sleep madness. . .
i'm wondering how it will do with a athlon II x4 w/ 95watt TDP. i have another fan i can attach, but just wondering if it will be able to handle the cpu

I'm not sure what it is but it's not a standard HDT-S964 for sure.

I have to agree with DuckieHo on this one. It's definitely not a S964. The most noticeable difference is the fin density.
