I need to connect my wired router to another wired router, but right now I am completely baffled about how to do this.

I am trying to connect a Netgear FVS318 V1 to a Verizon router, I checked all the new CAT 5 cords and they are Patch type cables.

I just don't know what to put on the settings for the second router:

I have the Netgear routers IP set to DNS on the verizon router, but it didn't make any difference (I am probably just entering the wrong things on the netgear setup).
