I only heard about this game today. So I downloaded it (took around 2 hours @ 300kb/s average) to find out that the open beta has closed. The servers are offline and the official release is tomorrow!

The game looks good from what I've seen especially since it's free. The interface looks a lot like WoW but then again WoW was an Everquest 2 uhh.. Improvement?

Myself I'm thinking of making a Warrior/Rogue. I heard it's like a warrior who can duel wield. Sounds pretty neat. And yeah you can have 2 classes for 1 character a bit like in Guild Wars which is what I really like because it adds a whole lot of variety in playing your class. The classes are Warrior, Knight, Rogue, Scout, Mage and Priest and there is only 1 race (Human) however I heard that they are working on Elves and 2 more classes. The graphics look really nice for a free MMO and a lot better then WoW's.

The only thing which looks sucky about this game is that it has an item shop (pay real money for in-game items). The items they sell aren't game breaking or anything or at least I hope... I suppose they gotta make money to maintain the servers somehow.

I just wanted to get a thread going so we can all talk about it.

Good stuff, I am a Warrior/Rogue level 20/20 on the US PVP server.

Pretty dang good for a free mmorpg, and yes dual wield is cool

I have a character in this game, 25/24 Rogue /Scout. I think its a decent game but needs serious balancing at the moment. unfortunately the game runs like complete crap on my system. Turning the camera in the town or even in a empty field causes my FPS to drop to zero or singe digits. But if i stand still it sits at 100-200FPS depending on where i am. Their support is a joke, i have sent numerous help tickets and forums posts describing the problem and that no other games do that on my system but nobody will respond, its been a week now.

Me and my wife have been playing this and are having a lot of fun. No serious framerate issue on either my desktop or my laptop. I did have to edit the configuration file manually to get fullscreen at my desired resolution but it was no biggie. One thing I noticed about this game is the excellent animations and spell effects. They really went all out on making it as close to WoW as possible and actually I am finding it's even more detailed in a lot of ways. Plus it's FREE. With games like this and Atlantica I'm finding it hard to renew my P2p subs in LotRo or CoH.
