I have this set to over clock. But I'm getting spikes. Highest it's it so far is 10.5ghz. is this going to damage the CPU if I leave it set to over clock. Pic attached.

Not seen that before!
Dont worry, your CPU is not spiking to 10.5 Ghz

😅😅

I am guessing its the software you are using (HWMonitor).

If you have not, try with HWInfo64 and check to see what the "effective clock" section shows with regards to frequency.

You either have the single most golden CPU ever made, or it’s a software reporting error. I know which I would put my bets on.

Wow, 10.5Mhz, But don't worry it won't take off.

We have a thread for 5700G in this forum too, if you want to compare it with others:

HWMonitor routinely reports my Ryzen 5800X hitting 5.5GHz. I doubt the chip is clocking that high, given that it isn't supposed to boost even to 5GHz. I'll go with HWMonitor being wonky.
I also have a 5700G in another system, though I don't monitor that one as much.
