Sager With Raid 0

What is your start up time (from moment you press the power button to windows log in) with this laptop? Mind im only asking for those who have raid setup...

Im asking because mine takes like between 2 mins to 3 mins before it gets to the log in screen....

If I can be so presumptuous as to assume RAID 0 is supposed to improve HDD performance? And that should improve load times? Then there might be a problem. Even though I don't own a Clevo D900C / D901C. My 320GB @5400 HDD loads faster.

But since I don't have RAID I guess I can't really comment.

Is that on a fresh install of Vista?

Should be loading up quicker than that. My single Titan loads Vista 64 in 20-25 seconds, I would expect a raid 0 setup to be around the same

raid 0 takes longer to load vista than a single hard drive because it has to load the raid drivers before boot

And that takes about 15 seconds for the RAID to initialize. 3-4 mins means there is something not right.
