So I feel stupid for asking this but I seriously don't know enough and exactly what to look up to answer this question I have.
If you have 2 27 inch monitors one 4K resolution and the other 1440P and you have both running, for example, Counter strike Global Offensive will the player models in the game appear the same size on the screens or will they appear smaller on the 4k screen versus the 1440P screen?

I bring this up because I'm considering the new 4k 144hz monitors coming out early next year from Asus and Acer.

Since the FOV (field of view) will be the same regardless of resolution, they'll look exactly the same, just more detailed on the 4K.

The only thing that might make a significant difference is if the aspect ratio is not the same.

Of course, this depends on the game, especially those who use 2D overlays. But CS:GO I know for a fact "looks" the same across resolutions as long as the aspect ratio remains the same.
