I will be placing one of these drives in my soon-to-be upgraded computer. Looking for stability, quality, and speed.

Any recommendations beyond just voting for what you heard others vote for?

Will I really be able to notice a difference between the two?

The Samsung is superior in my opinion. I have several brands, including a Crucial, and the Samsung is on a par with the Intel drives, but a lot cheaper. Their software is good too. It allows you to monitor your drive performance quite easily.
