Yea that's the 60Hz version, not quite as good as the 120Hz A650, but still a very nice model. And that price is $50 cheaper than the egg. Not a great deal, but still a pretty good one. Always nice to be able to see the tv in person before buying too.
yeah the one i ordered is the LN46A650

120hz + 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio FTW!!
120Hz by itself adds no benefit. Really all you're doing with 120Hz vs 60Hz is repeating frames more often. What does help is that there's a better display processor in the 650 series. Oh, and with the 550, you don't have an ugly ass red TV on your wall.

And last week I saw the LN52A550 for $1200 at Fred Meyer. I was SO close to buying it, but the wife says our 40" 550 is good enough. What does she know...grumble....grumble...

the red doesnt really look all that bad in person actually....and its not like its bright red....its almost like a dim fade....

Yessir, I've seen them in person, but I still think they're ugly. Maybe I did come off a little strong, though, because it truly is a matter of personal preference. You can tell I'm biased, because we have 4 black Sammies in my place.
