Has anybody tried SM961 1TB as Windows 10 boot drive? What is the booting process speed up comparing to a standard SSD?

Got one on a Windows 10 (latest Insider build) running stock NVME driver (can't install Samsung's from 950 PRO) connected to Asus X99 DELUXE motherboard (with i7-5930K) M.2 port.
Seriously struggling at benching for Write performance, it's been like that for a few minutes already.
Am I missing something obvious ?

Still slow ish.

My setup is :
Asus X99 Deluxe
i7 5930
32GB
1080GTX (PCIE x16, slot 3)

No overclocking whatsoever.

The drive is connected to the M.2 slot from the motherboard.

Is there any recommended BIOS modifications to be done to get the most out of NVME drives ?

Power save, slow frequency on cpu and memory kills ssd speed

If you haven't already install the Samsung NVME driver (via device manager - update Standard NVME storage controller not the disk drive) with driver from
http://www.win-raid.com/t29f25-Recommended-AHCI-RAID-and-NVMe-Drivers.html
Look in section H: (spoiler) for link. When installing disregard message from Device Manager about can't verify driver.
BTW Fernando's Win-Raid.com site is the **** for all things storage!

Well I'm more than happy!

Fresh BIOS, fresh Windows 10 install, I'm sure I can get even more out of her if I do some OC/Tweaking

I can't even see the green drive with my video cards installed.

Nice drive! For reference here is my three 500gb 850 evo running off a Gigabyte Z170x-gaming-7 motherboard in Raid0 without any restarts or tweaking.

My next drive will be one of these but I may get a few years out of the three drives I have atm
