Hello!

I need some advice in choosing fans, and if its worth getting a shroud or not.
I could always pick the san aces ones and undervolt them but would that give them less static pressure?

The apaches and GTs also looks promising but i cant choose.

I need a fan i can trust on, please make a list of pros
and cons of the fan you recommend if you dont mind.

the RX 360 are optimised for low speed fans so i suggest you get some of those
if you want' to use the san aces then something like the "black ice gtx 360" would be more appropriate.

I would choose something like the scythe gentle typhoon/s-flex/yate loon for low speed.

don't know enough about high speed sry but maybe those san ace.

Are the Akasa apaches any good for the RX 360?

Not sure never heard of them. I would feel more safe if i got some fans that were truely tested and reviewed

But if you can trust the specs then it looks like it. Not much cfm under 1000 rpm though & if you decide to go near silent thats were you should go imo
If you some day decide to use them for something else that need more static presure then they may not be powerful enough.

Do you know any alternative to the akasa apache that is popular with high static pressure?

well it's hard to just tell a person what to get because we all hear noise differently. But for low noise and 25mm fans the Gentle typhoons seem to be very popular. Noiseblocker & Yate Loon perhaps also.

For high speed and static pressure the 38mm thick San Ace also seems very popular. maybe the ultra kaze 1000/2000 also and if you can find the right panaflo fans..but with these im just guessing cus i havent any real experience with them.

you need to take a look at the links i posted earlier particular:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=223391

http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=get...22&articID=936 <--same but with prettier layout.

I used to have watercooling but was to much hassel and broken hardware for me so i quit. but also had the rx360 and i were happy with my scythe s-flex fans. not noisy at all.
