Hi everyone.
Having recently purchased a Heatkiller 3.0 for my QX6700 with rather disappointing results (Reseat after reseat still gives me poorer temps compared to my old Fuzion CPU block) i've decided to get out the old Fuzion GPU block and watercool my graphics card (Sapphire 6870) - i need to satisfy those overclock urges somehow
. May as well accept this old quad core isn't going any faster.
Currently, the results i get are fantastic. i'm overclocked to 1000MHz core, 1125MHz memory and it barely touches 45 degree's - all on stock voltages running MSI Kombustor on Xtreme mode. No artifacting or anything unusual so far.
This i think gives me alot of room to push this card further. Problem is, i'm not familiar with overclocking a graphics card. I don't trust this to be enough to fully tell if a card is stable. I also need some refrences to know what voltages i can put in this card and what maximum clocks i can expect.
Can anyone help me?
