I travel quite frequently as I have a 3 hour drive to my mom's about every weekend or so, and I want a small, low powered pc that will fit in my backpack. So I dug through my part drawers, and found everything I need besides besides a motherboard. So here's the parts list:
-1.6ghz Pentium
-2x512MB sticks of TurboX DDR2 Ram
-A 2.5" Seagate 250GB Hard Drive
-A Slimline Heatsink that fits 775 socket
-Shuttle 250W Power Supply
So the only thing I need to get yet is the motherboard, and a case. The motherboard I'm looking at is only $30, so I don't really want to put nearly free parts into a more expensive case that probably won't have everything I need. So I'll build my own out of plywood
The goal was as small as possible, so I did some Sketchup drawings and came to this:

I'm going to start building tomorrow, and maybe find better hard drive placement as well. I should get the motherboard by the end of this week and have this thing completer by then
I'll update this post with pics of the parts I already have tomorrow.
Thanks
