If you are talking about an LCD monitor you don't have to worry about burn in because LCD doesn't get it.

i just turn my LCD off when ever i'm not using it.

Hmmm sounds like the monitor is just too hot. Make sure you have good ventilation all around and maybe point a fan at it too.

</div>The easiest way to prevent burn-in. Plus you save money on electricity. (Although that's mostly CRT's...)

LCD's do not suffer from burn in like others do i.e. CRT and Plasma. That is why we use LCD's over say a plasma minus price of course lol. If you are seeing a image of your background when you shouldnt on a LCD you need to get it checked out.<br><br>

LCD's do get a condition called image persistance, you may want to look iinto that.

Dont worry guys, its gone this morning, most of been the time it was left on for yesterday + adjusted the screen saver to come on after 3 mins, i will also put another pic on there as the b/ground less clarity, will hopefully reduce the risk.<br />
