Sometimes, when I'm playing WoW, my screen just goes blank. My PC is still running (fans and such) but I never get anything back on the screen and I'm forced to reboot my PC. Seems to me like it is likely my GFX card. Am I correct to assume this? The cooling fan on it is stock, and failing to a certain degree (makes rapid clicking noises) but my Nvidia Monitor stays at about 50-52C under load for the card, so unless the temp randomly spikes, I don't really see it as a heat issue.
Also, this issue has become much more prominent since I replaced my ASUS mobo with my DFI one. I think I recall it occurring once or twice before I did the swap, but I could be wrong about that.
It has never happened outside of a game, and WoW is the primary culprit. Any ideas, or am I correct to assume its the video card?
