After the recent Windows update my pc won't boot. It says "Secure boot violation" in a red box. I've tried to look around on the internet to find a solution, but can't find any (i can, but they aren't helpful). I have a ASUS Maximus VII hero motherboard. Hope someone can help, thanks!

If you remove the CMOS battery, and put it back in. It only resets the information/settings within your BIOS, it does not affect your HDD.

CSM may become disabled once the BIOS settings have reset. Thus re-enable it if needs be.
