Sell 8800 and get a 5770?

as the title says, should i sell it ? would it be worth the bother, since ive checked on ebay and the 8800's (the one in my sig rig) are still selling quite nicely which would mean i could get a 5770 for around Â£50

well i would say if you really think you can sell that 8800gts and get the money for the 5770 then go for it! You will see a pretty noticeable jump in fps on some games considering the 5770 has far more stream processors so it should make things smoother overall.

It would be a good performance jump, but why only 128bit on the 5770?

That's the crap we used to see back in the Geforce 6800 series.

GDDR5 does not require a massive memory bus.
