Hi all,
i'm looking for an Android smartphone and i have to choose between these two models:
  1. New Evo 3D for 300 euros
  2. Used Sensation XE (1 month old) with orginal HTC cover for 330 euros
The price is almost the same considering the cost of the cover and the XE is pratically new.
I'm a little bit undecided because i don't care much about 3D and i know the XE can already be updated to ICS, so it comes down to what device is better supported i think.
In terms unofficial ROMs which one is more supported by the devs?

Thanks

Actually, the EVO 3D is also due to get ICS: http://blog.htc.com/2012/03/ics/

...but of course has yet to get it, so any day now.

Both phones are very similar on paper (dual core CPU, 4GB memory, same screen size, but the Sensation has a better camera and is thinner and lighter), so I would suggest trying both out in person to get a feel for which you like better. I have the EVO 3D myself, and have no complaints, great phone. Yes, the 3D camera is a gimmick which probably hindered the phone's popularity, but it is fun to play around with. I just wish there were more 3D games for it.

Well, it turned out the Sensation XE was bought so i ordered a Evo 3D.
I hope to get it soon, the price wasn't bad after all considered the hardware specs.
